Starting Saturday, September 13, Athens will introduce 24-hour Saturday service for urban public transport.

24-hour Metro in Athens on Saturdays
Starting this week, the Athens Metro (Lines 2 and 3), tram (Lines T6 and T7), and selected bus routes, will be operating for 24-hours on Saturdays.
This initiative will enhances the overall mobility experience in Athens, offering the public a safe and reliable transport option at all hours of the day. It constitutes an important step toward upgrading urban transport services and strengthening Athens’ outward-looking profile.
Metro and Tram Operation
The 24-hour service for fixed-track modes includes Metro Lines 2 and 3 (red and blue lines), and Tram Lines T6 and T7.
From 00:20 to 5:30 am, Metro Line 2 and 3 trains will run every 15 minutes. This does not include the airport metro, which will not be running between these hours. Note that there will be no night service for Metro Line 1.
From 00:30 to 5:30 am, Tram Lines T6 and T7 will run every 25 minutes.
24-hour Bus Operation on Saturdays
The 24-hour bus service includes 10 additional bus routes, beyond the existing 24-hour and night services, covering key areas of Attica.

- 049: Piraeus – Omonia
- A15: Larissa Station – Dasos
- B11: Vathi Square – Ilion – Petroupoli
- B12: Attiki Station – Ano Liosia
- 040: Piraeus – Syntagma
- 11: Ano Patissia – Neo Pagkrati – Nea Elvetia

- Χ95: Syntagma – Athens Airport

- 500: Piraeus – Kifisia
